What is the delivery time frame?

We work with top delivery companies that are quick and effective. Usually we deliver containers within a week, however we always want to let our customers know to allow up to 2 weeks in case of bad weather or any unexpected situations.

What is the condition of a used container?

Used containers come in different levels of quality. Used containers are leak free and in “storage-condition” which means that you can keep your “stuff” dry. Even though most used containers look good from the outside, there are some with more dents than others or more rust than others, however they won’t have any holes. We sell “Cargo Worthy” containers. Some companies call them “WWT” or “Wind and Watertight”

How do I pay for a container?

You can checkout via our website. You can pay with a credit card, debit card, send a wire transfer, mail in a check, pay with Venmo or QuickPay (Zelle).

Can I come and see the container before I pay?

Containers are stacked on top of each other at shipping container terminals across the country. Most terminals look like the ones in the picture below. In those terminals only qualified personnel is allowed to walk around therefore for security and liability reasons we can’t allow customers to walk in and shop around.

Can I pick it up myself if I have a truck and trailer?

Yes, you can come to one of our terminals and pick up the container by yourself. Some terminals require that you have a TWIC card, therefore please check with us before you go into any terminal so we can provide the requirements.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver in all 48 continental states.

How much do you charge for delivery?

Each area is different. It’s usually anywhere between $3 to $5 per loaded mile. For more details in regards to how much deliver would cost, please check our prices by clicking here.

Pro’s:

Reused shipping containers have been turned into houses, hotels, storage units, stores, restaurants, food trucks, green houses, schools, libraries, and even art studios, by modifying them and welding them on top of each other or side by side.

Reusing shipping containers, and turning them into buildings, can prevent the use of bricks and cement as the production of cement is a major source of CO2. It can also help  reduce the usage of steel. 

One of the most significant advantages of reusing a shipping container is that they are very affordable, and can be built incredibly fast. Instead of building a house, renting a place, or investing in land, shipping containers can be bought for a much cheaper price, and can easily be moved if needed.

Con’s:

Controlling the temperature is one of the biggest challenges of reusing a shipping container, especially as a housing unit. As a result of the steel, containers easily absorb both cold and heat, which means the temperatures easily get very low in winter, and too high in summer. So, insulation is a very important process, and needs to be done carefully.

Containers are not corrosion or rust-proof, they need continuous care and attention. The reaction between steel, water, and oxygen can cause rust and corrosion on containers. Various Climate conditions may speed up this process. The weather needs to be mostly dry, not too rainy and wet, to avoid these issues. You can power wash and clean the container or paint it  to extend its life
